Flip it out behind the canoe to troll slowly, cast the shoreline & over rocky points. Also, work it next to weed beds for spectacular action that you just can't achieve with a regular spoon. don't be affraid to let it sink before retrieving. We stock a lot of colors in our barbless Michigan Stinger Scorpions because when you are out far from shore or in the middle of the woods, a little variety never hurts. Bright days, bright colors...darker days use darker colors. And, sometimes this rule doesn't apply at all so you use whatever color you grab out of the tackle box. Color chart below is of actual Michigan Stinger non-Scorpions which are bigger spoons and a slightly different shape than the Scorpion in my hand above. The Scorpions you get from us will look like the above spoon in shape. Pet one - so pretty and inviting. A little, delicate, lilting spoon with a deadly sting! (for fish and goofballs - thank goodness it's barbless! - still's gonna hurt, however)
