The Alex Costa is a larger lure with diving depths of 16' for casting and 21' for trolling. What makes them so unique is the way they pull through the water. You're going to need a stiffer rod for these lures, but unlike other deep divers, Costa offer less resistance on the retrieve. You'll also note that the diving bill is sleek and thin, unlike traditional deep-divers which unusally have a lot of lip reinforcing to sustain the water pressure against them during your retrieve.
